SWAMI LAXMI SHANKAR AACHARYA
Swami Laxmi Shankar Aacharya was born in 1953 in Kanpur. He studied in Alhabad. Then, he abandoned the materialism and switched over to spirituality. As a consequence of getting influenced by the anti-Islamic propaganda, he wrote a book “The History of Islamic Tolerance”. His school of thoughts changed as a result of studying Islamism. He authored a book in Hindi “Islamic Terrorism or Ideal”. He refuted all his previous books and begged forgiveness from the Muslims. He strongly refuted all the allegations of terrorism being charged against the Islam religion. He appreciated the elements of Justice and Fairness in Islam, Equality and the rest of Quranic teachings on good behaviours and spirituality. The hate mongers against the Islam religion extracted twenty four verses of the holy Quran without any preceding and succeeding context and, thereby, projected the Muslims as violent people to the sight of the people of other religions which is nothing but absolutely a wrong act of spreading the terrorism committed by them. These verses in question carry a particular background which had a special relevance at the time of their revelation. A general commandment to deal with the people believing in other religions of the later eras was not issued in those verses of the holy Quran. Swamiji further writes: The sacred biography of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sahab proves that the real mission of the Islam religion is to establish truth and peace in the world and to oppose the terrorism.
An Islamic Scholar Muhammad Yahya Khan wrote a book “The Messenger of Islam to the sight of Non-Muslims”. He writes the responses of Indian and European Non-Muslims in that book which speaks about the Islam religion and the biography of the Messenger of Islam. Hence, you can read and think that the Non-Muslims of India and foreign countries also exhibited their conviction in the Messenger of Islam.
The author writes on Page No 21 of his book “The Messenger of Islam to the sight of Non-Muslims”.
