RAJENDRA NARAYAN LAL:
Rajendra Narayan Lal did his MA from the Kashi Hindu University in 1940 on The Current History of Hindustan and Sanskrit. He wrote a book on “Islam as a self-proven way of life” He mentions the event of the conquest of Mecca on the page No 32 of his book that: On the occasion of the conquest of Mecca not a single person lost his life under the governance of Hazrat Muhammad. Prophet and his Companions freed their respective enemies without securing any retaliation for their oppression against them. We find no such illustration of mass forgiveness in the history of the world granted by the conqueror to the losers after winning the battle. On the contrary, we find the stories of horrible massacres to the rivals by the gods mentioned in the rest of the other religious mythologies.
He further writes that Hazrat Muhammad Sahab prayed even in favour of the tyrants too while tolerating the oppressions from them. He used to wage the defensive war only under the extremely desperate circumstances that too under the commandments of the Lord. And even after gaining the sweeping victory, he used to forgive all the tyrants collectively who had inflicted the extreme oppression on his Companions. His mission of life was Islam as a true religion. If scientifically “Struggle for Existence” and “Survival of The Reformation” is right, which is in fact a scientist principle, then Hazrat Muhammad Sahab had indeed turned out to be a perfect one as personality as well as in a capacity of a Messenger of the Lord. Besides, Islam is the only religion as a Deen (Religion) which stands to the tests of these principles.
