About Mufti Ibrahim Aasi

After reading Wasim Rizvi’s book Muhammad, an ordinary reader cannot help but wonder with deep regret: this man has cited verses of the Holy Qur’an, referred to Prophetic traditions, historical records, and passages from the classical works of Islamic jurisprudence and Seerah with their respective references. Why, then, has he become one of the most notorious, misguided, and misleading individuals of our time? The answer becomes evident when one carefully examines the manner in which these sacred sources have been deliberately distorted, misrepresented, and taken out of context to serve a malicious agenda.

I earnestly appeal to all people of goodwill throughout the world to read, with an open and unbiased mind, The Great Muhammad ﷺ (Azeem Muhammad), the comprehensive response to Wasim Rizvi’s Muhammad. A careful study of every page will make it as clear as broad daylight that the magnificent edifice which Wasim Rizvi sought to construct through deception, manipulation, falsehood, and intellectual dishonesty has been completely dismantled. Through compelling evidence, sound scholarship, and irrefutable arguments, Allama Aasi has reduced every one of his fabricated claims to ruins. The baseless accusations levelled against Islam and its Noble Founder, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, have been thoroughly exposed, and every allegation has been answered with clarity, precision, and decisive proof.

Throughout the history of the Indian subcontinent, whenever misguided individuals or agents of mischief have attempted to undermine the Holy Qur’an, Islam, the Prophet of Islam ﷺ, or the sacred principles of Islamic law, the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah have always risen in their defence. Through the strength of their scholarship and the power of their pens, they have rendered such opponents speechless and consigned their falsehoods to oblivion. Undoubtedly, Allama Mufti Muhammad Ibrahim Aasi has now secured for himself an honoured place among those distinguished defenders of Islam. After reading The Great Muhammad ﷺ, if Wasim Rizvi possesses even the slightest sense of conscience, he will be overwhelmed with remorse and will find neither the courage nor the justification to write anything of this nature again.

I have studied this book thoroughly and from beginning to end. It offers a sincere, scholarly, and truthful refutation of a work founded upon distortion and mischief. Its language is elegant, refined, and remarkably lucid, making its arguments easy for the reader to comprehend. Yet, for the propagator of falsehood, its arguments are as firm and unyielding as chains of iron. Every discussion flows naturally into the reader’s mind with the clarity and sweetness of pure water. In producing this work, the respected author has fulfilled a collective religious obligation (Farḍ Kifāyah) on behalf of the Muslim community.

Allama Mufti Muhammad Ibrahim Aasi is a naturally gifted writer and researcher, a master of both the Islamic and intellectual sciences, an accomplished teacher, and a dignified Mufti. In the discipline of ʿIlm al-Farā’iḍ (Islamic Law of Inheritance), he is truly without equal among his contemporaries.

His internationally acclaimed work, Faizan-e-Shari‘at, comprising nearly twelve hundred pages, enjoys immense popularity throughout India and Pakistan. To date, it has appeared in twenty-two editions and is available on numerous websites as well as major online marketplaces, including Amazon and Flipkart.

Another of his widely celebrated works, Daur-e-Hazir Ki Taqreeren (Contemporary Sermons), has become an indispensable resource for students in Islamic seminaries across India. Within only a few years, it has been published in more than twenty editions and has earned widespread acceptance among scholars and students alike.

His other noteworthy publications include Khutbat-e-Aasi, Safar-e-Haramain, Jam-e-Tasawwuf, Azmat-e-Rifa‘i, Sawanih-e-Sayyid, Bengal Se Bihar Tak, Huzoor Ki Dast-Boosi, Aakhri Faislah, Ameer-e-Millat Ka Ishq-e-Rasul, Qur’an Ki Roshni, and Anwar-e-Diniyat. He is widely recognised throughout the Indian subcontinent as one of its distinguished authors and men of letters.

“That is the bounty of Allah; He grants it to whomsoever He wills.” (Qur’an 57:21)

May Allah Almighty reward him abundantly, bless him with the countless bounties of this world and the Hereafter, increase him in honour, prosperity, and success, and accept this noble effort as a means of everlasting reward. Āmīn.

May Allah send His choicest blessings and peace upon the best of His creation, our Master Muhammad ﷺ, and upon his family and all his noble Companions.
