For the past several months, the devoted followers of the Noble Prophet, Sayyiduna Muhammad al-Arabi ﷺ, have been deeply distressed and profoundly disturbed. While the blessed name and noble remembrance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ continue to resonate across the world—from pulpits and prayer niches to Mawlid gatherings, books, and scholarly discourses—there are, at the same time, certain malicious elements relentlessly attempting to dishonour the sanctity of his noble personality through acts of blasphemy and deliberate provocation.

Among such mischief-makers, the most notorious is the infamous Wasim Rizvi of Lucknow. He authored a book entitled Muhammad, in which he openly levelled false accusations against Allah Almighty and His Beloved Messenger ﷺ. Filled with slander, fabricated allegations, deliberate falsehoods, deception, and intellectual dishonesty, the book serves merely as an outlet for the author’s impure mentality and deep-seated prejudice. In dealing with the Qur’anic verses, the Prophetic traditions, the books of Seerah and Islamic history, and the authoritative works of the jurists of the Ummah, he committed grave distortions, misrepresentations, and acts of betrayal. Any fair-minded and peace-loving reader who studies this book objectively will have no choice but to strongly condemn Wasim Rizvi for his dishonesty and malicious intent.

The book Muhammad is nothing more than a compilation of falsehoods and mischief. It therefore became necessary that a comprehensive and scholarly refutation be written by someone who possesses not only profound knowledge of the traditional Islamic sciences but also familiarity with contemporary disciplines, an understanding of modern intellectual trends, and a deep interest in research and academic writing. Although the Muslim Ummah is blessed with many eminent scholars, Allah Almighty chooses whomsoever He wills to defend His religion and safeguard the honour and dignity of His Beloved Messenger ﷺ.

By the grace of Allah, this noble responsibility fell upon the distinguished scholar and prolific author, Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Ibrahim Aasi, teacher at Jamia Qadriya Ashrafiya. In my considered opinion, he is a born scholar, gifted writer, and natural researcher.

Every teacher has numerous students, and every spiritual guide has many disciples. Yet, among them, there are always a few who, through their sincerity, devotion, and exemplary conduct, become especially beloved to their teacher and mentor. Such is the case with my esteemed student, Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Ibrahim Aasi (may Allah preserve and elevate him). Among all my students, I take particular pride in him. It is often said that great personalities are weighed against silver, but if I possessed diamonds and precious jewels, I would gladly weigh him against those instead.
